Voices to Votes mission is to bring civic awareness and information to youth in urban Philadelphia. ˇTo encourage youth to make informed decisions around voting and judical legislation and advocacy. Through conversation and action.
How
In partnership with EVEV "Every Voice Every Vote" initiative, VUOTS will hold a series of school based civic engagement sessions with students in middle & high school. Giving students a chance to engage honestly and openly.
Why
VUOTS wants to increase youth voter registration in Philadelphia. In addition to civic awareness and engagement among youth. To promote youth civic leadership, & community ambassadors. More importantly to start a MOVEMENT that embodies the voices of today's youth.

About VUOTS Voices to Votes Project
The goal of this project is to create a movement. A movement that will address the oppositional questions around voting and civic power. The "Voices to Votes" movement was created by VUOTS, to ask the awkward questions that plague urban communities and hinder their voting participation. VUOTS hopes are to change the narrative by highlighting Voices to Votes when youth in Black & Brown communities ask the question, "Why should we VOTE"? And can rational explain their own personal choice on voting and judicial policies and parties.
