VUOTS Honorees with Recognition Awards


  1. Mrs. April Davis
    VUOTS proudly honored Mrs. April Davis during our 2026 MLK Jr. Day of Service for her continued commitment to community uplift, mentorship, and advocacy. In recognition of her leadership and service, Mrs. Davis received a $500 community recognition award, presented alongside a citation from Councilmember Isaiah Thomas’s office. This award represents our appreciation for the labor, care, and impact she brings to the community.
  2. Lai’Onne Reeves
    Lai’Onne Reeves was recognized as VUOTS’s 2026 Youth Honoree for her leadership, compassion, and commitment to community wellness. She was nominated by one of our community partners, Ordinarie Heroes, in recognition of her dedication to peer support, youth voice, and mental health awareness. Lai’Onne received a $500 recognition awardhonoring her contributions and emerging leadership. Her work reflects the values of service and justice central to the MLK Day of Service.
